Jim Thomas is the Executive Director of Orlando Trep. Prior to joining the Trep team Jim co-founded Welli Industries. Welli stands for Wellness Innovation and is dedicated to bringing about positive change to the $3 trillion healthcare industry. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Wellness Council as well as the Advisory Board of a sustainable farming company called Illucen.
Prior to Orlando Trep, Jim was the Director of Client Relations for the Fifty & Five Social Media agency which handles social media strategy and execution for top corporate clients like Tupperware, Netgear, and Mezzacorona Wine.
Before moving to Florida Jim spent 10 years in government and politics. He worked for two Southern California cities, two Californian State Senators, and a US Congressman. He worked in the California State Capital, as well as, the US Capitol in Washington DC. On the political front, Jim served as the campaign manager for a US Senate Primary campaign in California. He also spent two years in government relations serving as Vice President at the Inland Group in Newport Beach, California.
Jim holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Jim and his wife Kristine currently reside in downtown Orlando.

Nationally recognized as an "entrepreneur in the business of helping entrepreneurs," Dr. Tom O'Neal is dedicated to creating and supporting successful and sustainable innovation ecosystems in Florida. Tom's efforts focus on building strong research programs at UCF and the transfer and commercialization of research results into the marketplace. This work helps to build an innovation based economy for Central Florida.
Currently, Tom is the Associate Vice President of Research & Commercialization at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He also serves as the Executive Director of the UCF Business Incubation Program (UCFBIP) and the Florida Economic Gardening Institute (FEGI). Some of his areas of responsibility include the sponsored programs office, technology transfer, compliance, the venture lab, the UCF Business Incubation Program and the Florida's Economic Gardening Institute. Tom has been part of UCF's Office of Research & Commercialization team working to help UCF become a leading metropolitan research university since 2000. He also serves as a core member of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council.

Jeff and his wife, Judy, live in Melbourne, Florida and have three children. He serves as a board member of the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida, Junior Achievement and the American Heart Association.
